Default Locking gas cap/door

So i wake up this morning and go out to find my gas door open and cap off, in other words some jackass siphoned my gas.
Any suggestions on what is better, locking gas cap or locking fuel door?
I liked my old car where the only way to open the fuel door was from inside the car

that does suck. tell you the truth i wouldnt buy a locking gas cap from an auto parts store. ive seen so many come in with check engine lights that turn out to be small evap leaks. they dont seal right for some odd reason. always ended up putting a mopar locking gas cap on and curing their problem. they are alot more but will save you alot of trouble. plus they are designed to be keyed to your ignition key.

Yeah, since I got my truck, im kinda afraid of that happening to me. My old car unlocked the gas door electronically from inside the car also. But damn that does suck.
