the Xtravisions are nowhere near as bright as the silverstars. I think they are listed as OEM replacements.

I was not saying the Silver Stars are not brighter I'm saying the Xtraview are not OEM grade.like I said I was looking for the Silver Stars they were so new nobody had them instock so I ended up with Xtravison.I swapped out a while back.
Where did you get that letter at Glk, a number of us have silver star's, i think somebody at sylvania made a huge mistake, i do'nt understand where you got that letter from, they are much brighter i should know i i got flashed by another driver last night, and yes they make the silver star fog lamp's for are truck's H10 or 9145's they did'nt last long but were much brighter than the stock's.
I want silverstars!! I'm glad they now make them for our Dakotas. I bought the 8500K headlights for the blue look, they were cool at first but it's just annoying that they aren't bright bright bright. What do Yall think? Should I convert over to HIDs ($200-$300) or should I just get silverstars and call it a day?
