Yeah the 20" wheels are ONLY gonna be for looks, and they are a SWEEEEEET looking wheel

Overall, they're gonna hurt your gas mileage and they'd slow your truck down (because they weigh more) and also would wear your brakes out quicker with all that moving rotational mass (and the stock brakes suck already, with lighter stock wheels!)

With bigger wheels/tires....it'll throw your speedometer (mph) off and that would need to be reprogrammed.

Also, the wheels are gonna cost $$$$ alone.

So that's just something you need to think about.

Bigger wheels will NOT throw your speedo.

The rolling diameter of the tire is what will change your speedometer. You should be compensating for larger wheels, with a smaller aspect ratio.

I work for Discount tire, and in the coming months, the Kota will get some 20s, wrapped in 265-50-20s most likely. It may throw my speedo a 2-3 MPH curve ball, but I'm not so concerned.

You're right....only bigger (or smaller) tires will throw the speedo off...I know that

I only meant that if you bolted on the Ram 20's & tires combination (from the factory...like take-offs) it'd throw your speedo off because they're so big.

If you put a smaller tire on the Ram 20" wheels (the correct one to compensate for the size change) then your speedo wouldn't be off.

You just need to keep the overall tire diameter the same as the factory overall tire diameter when you upgrade

actualy, if you have the factory 265/70/16 wheels, the 265/5020 are an almost exact size ratio....if you have the smaller 16in tires, the 275/45/20 are just as close....im going to be selling the ram rims and tires in the next month and go on to my next wheel project.....

Yeah, the 265-50-20 is a sweet match for the Kota. I'll probobly be rolling MB's Predators, black centers, with polished lip, on my blacked out truck.

Should look pretty nasty.

I just realized that it's because you got a 4x4 that you have the bigger tires...so yeah you'd be fine

I have the optional 255/65/16's on my 4x2, but they're still smaller (than what you have/had)

Why not pop that plastic bumper cover off and have it painted it probably not going to be cheap unless you have a good friend that knows how to paint,I checked the local dealership for painted grills they wanted $279,I doubt that bumper cover going to be cheaper, otherwise keep an eye on eBay.
