Dana rear axle
So, I'm mainly looking for snobrdrdan to chime in here. You on dakota - durango.com said you had gotten the "new part number rear axle from Dana" from 4wheelparts.com what is the number for that, and do you have it yet? How was installation if you have it.
Thanks man.

Ohh...you mean the Dana Spicer Trak-Lok
It's a LSD (limited slip differential) or "Anti-Spin Differential" it's called from the factory
It got it for $259 SHIPPED from www.4wheelparts.com
Part number: 80754
I got it sitting here, but still waiting to put it in along with my 4.10 gears
Should have it done within the next month I'm hoping...just need some time (and a day off)
Paying a shop to do it though...$300

Well you "should" have the 9.25 rear axle if you ordered the 4.7 V-8.....you'll have to check your glove box when you get your truck
No need in upgrading the axle though.....it's the same rear axle that is on the Rams & came on the prev. generation of (5.9) R/T's and those guys have their trucks supercharged or running built up motors and it holds up fine...u know?
I'm just upgrading to a LSD on mine since I have the open diff. right now
