well, i called to cancel my order (which had already been processed) but the good news is, they realized the programmer wouldnt work, so they are just sending me the AEM intake

so, thats cool with me, i didnt have to spend 600 bucks on a kit that only 1/2 works on my truck

here is my intake

$250 for a filter? Are you going to wrap that shiny chrome tube in header wrap or something to keep it from absorbing heat from the exhaust? Thin metal transfers heat really well.

Umm....you might wanna call that place up again....they sound a little shady.
I thought about ordering some stuff from them when I had my '04 Dakota, but I never did.

AEM hasn't even released the intake for our truck yet man!!

Do a search on their website....it's new & not available yet:
http://trucks.aempower.com/product_intake.asp

The intakes for the older Dakotas say "Available" & for our truck says "New Release." RPM Outlet doesn't even list it on their website.

I dunno man...I'd be a little skeptical.

How much are you paying for this AEM intake anyways!?!?

And like horatio said.....it's metal piping....which absorbs heat & warmer intake temps = less power

Hmm...why didn't you get the 63 series???

The 63 series is black plastic (which makes it blend in with the motor/factory look) and gives the truck an extra 2.5 more rwhp (which I know isn't much at all) than the metal one you ordered.

Just wondering
