well, i ordered a kit that will give me about 53 rwhp (dyno proven). It comes with an intake, throttle body spacer and programmer.

i cant wait to get it, im tired of racing the slow cars, the best challenge ive had so far was an 03-04 ecplise GT who supposedly runs 13's lol. he got the jump and i was slowly pulling on him and we ended up about dead even by the end of the "quarter mile". So i guess i have a 13 second truck lol.


some kids are dumb. anyways, when i get it ill install it and let everyone know how it works and if anyone wants to look into it, i will find the website and post it in this thread

Sorry, but I gotta call BS on the numbers. 53 wheel horses = ~80 crank horses---> an almost 25% increase. No way in hell that a programmer and intake do that on a n/a engine.....A programmer/intake/downpipe can just overdo that on a high pressure turbo'd S60R......

When you get this thing make sure you dyno before/after...i would like to see actual numbers

 

no programer is available yet...except for the flash...and sorry but that will not give you that much hp,....

Do you know which programmer it is? I've been looking for one, and nobody is producing yet.

 

Hmmm....let's think about this:

Stock Eclipse GT is a 16.1 @ 86mph car

And this "special" 03-04 Eclipse GT "runs 13's"

And your 2005 Dakota was keeping up or beat this car that "runs 13's"


A Ram SRT-10 (which is 2wd & 500hp) runs 13.6 @ 105mph


So maybe your truck & his Eclipse "run 13's".... probably in the 1/8th mile.....but defintely not in the 1/4....LOL



Just kidding around with you, but those numbers don't make any sense. Your truck (stock) is probably a 16.5-17 second truck in the 1/4 mile.


And the 53 rwhp kit you're talking about is a load of crap.....

Intake....10 hp to the wheels (we all know this)

Programmer.....there isn't even one on the market??

Throttle body spacer.....yeah makes a GREAT paper weight.....it doesn't do anything for a fuel injected engine & even if it did it would be minimal.

So I'd save your money & if you really wanted some rwhp....get the Paxton supercharger which adds over 100 REAL hp.

and the programmer is for the 4.7liter engine, not so much the 05 dakotas

HEY, I WOULD CANCEL YOUR ORDER..THAT PROGRAMER WILL NOT WORK, AND THEY USULY WILL NOT TAKE THEM BACK AFTER PURCHASE...JUST WATCH YOUR ***....I HATE SEEING PEOPLE GET RIPPED OFF!!
