My samurai is down for an engine rebuild and I got bored.. decided to see if my 33s from the samurai would fit the dakota..

the rears fit... BARELY.. havent tried the front yet..

 

Rubbed a bit in the front when turning
Sucks.. woulda been fun wheeling with em lol

 

A lift kit would help you out with the 33's

From the factory these trucks don't sit very high.
For whatever reason, the 4x2 AND 4x4's have the same ride height.....which is weird to me. Because usually on EVERY other make of truck.....the 4x4 version sits higher.....even the previous gen. of Dakotas did.

yea the 2wd and 4wd sit exactly the same since every suspension part is identical to each other....the only difference is one has a front diff and transfercase.....

 

Still no lift kits yet though

cept the body...


Think with the 3" body lift I could fit 33s?

 

just buy the 2in front leveling kit, that should get you the room you need....and the rear all you need is some blocks.

Yep, I'm gonna get the 3" body lift .. some black wheels and some 33" tires like in the picture..

 

Do you have a side picture of the front wheel in the fenderwell? I would really like to see it. Disappointing you already have a level kit on it and it rubs, I want to get '06 RAM 20's with the stock 33's and thought I could get away with 2" level in front and 1" block in back. Back to the idea tank...
