have installed a couple on the caravans but not the dakotas. my latest install on a dakota was a factory cruise control. the caravan remote start was perty easy, havent even seen one for a dakota yet though.
well me and my brother in law installed a clifford alarm with remote start on mine it took awhile the biggest pain was the wiring under the dash but other than that wasnt to bad hope that helps
