Ha, I'm in Michigan... Marquette, MI to be exact... and usually this time of the year we have about 15 - 20 or so inches on the ground. Right now we have about 4.

Well you almost get snow like we do. We usually have that much already on the ground by Halloween. Light winter this year though. Current average temp -31F. Have block heater, trans heater, battery heater, oil pan heater just so truck will start when it's cold. Welcome to the great interior, Eielson AFB, Alaska. Wanna trade?

Love the look of the truck with the painted grille. I'm pretty jealous. I still have a chrome one but am looking into getting a painted one.

And I, myself, am in Fairbanks, AK. Right next door to Eielson basically.

Hey Frenchy...is it a real noticable difference with the air intake mod? I have a K&N FILTER in the regular slot and noticed difference. Would it be more so with the mod?

Oh good Lord yes! When I put the first 100 miles on it, I was in 6th gear maybe 3 times... I would dip into the throttle a bit, and it would accel... but slowly, now, if im in 6th at around 1800RPMs I dip into the throttle, and she has quite some pickup!

It cost me 249 from Autoanything.com .. they had a 20 dollars off thing going on. and install should take about an hour...

I would recommend however, instead of the ****ty silicone tubing they give you, going out and buying a foot of 5/8" id silicone housing, and attaching that rather than the short piece they give you.
