OH YEAH!! added on a K&N 63 series and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! it woke the motor up quite a bit. Now at the higher RPMs the truck screams!!! throttle response shortened a bit too, although I would like it to be shorter.

I'll have to post some pics of everything as I go along...... so far here are the mods:

- 2.5 cat(y-pipe) back thru a flowmaster 40, single out, nice growl
- K&N 63 (black plastic) CAI
- Hadley air horns mounted in front of the radiator
- Extang Tri-fecta tonneau should arrive tommorrow

BTW, my air -temp sensor was a bit cruddy, didn't want to wipe it down too much as it is so delicate.... Has anybody noticed build-up on the temp sensor?

I personally like the airaid system better. you get about the same numbers as the airaid and can get it around 180 bucks.
I agree with you. I have the Air Raid system and I'm quite happy with it. Since I put the exhaust and the JetChip, i've noticed a quick throttle response to it.

I put a 2.5 cat back with a Magna Flow muffler and I kept the one resinator on, and I have quit the growl, especially at start up.

The Air Raid had a nice howl to it, but now I can't hear it with the exhaust, unless I am sitting on it at hi-way speeds.

Yes. The Air Raid gets the same rating for a lesser price. Do the research and you'll see what I mean.

Took the truck for it's first off-road beatin' yesterday and it did FANTASTIC!! I covered it from head to toe in mud. However, almost had a MAJOR catastrophe - my K&N air filter popped off it's tube, leavingthe tube wide open into the throttle body. I'm not sure when it happened, or how much "stuff", if any, got sucked into the motor. It still runs like a champ, and if I didn't open the hood to check the mud situation, I wouldn't have even noticed it. But it's back on, and so far - so good.
