3rd Gen Dakota R/T?

Different wheels would really set it off.
John- Just because you obviously do not like it, doesn't mean that I cannot like it. Grow up...
You're speechless? Good...

]What the hell does that mean? Or do you two have some other problems with eachother? Just curious and dont get mad, because we Minnesotans gotta stick together.
Again with the stupid R/T thread?
Look, the truck is nothing more then a stupid Laramie with a nice hood and a sticker package. NOTHING ELSE!!
The 2nd Gen R/T was FASTER, nicer body kit, sporty wheels, and it had its own motor. Look, I'm not saying the new R/T has to have a 5.7L V8 or a 5.9L V8....but dont give it the same damn motor that any Dick n Jane can buy down at the Ma & Pa Dodge dealership.
Make that 4.7L H.O. with some *****.....like a 40-50hp difference....or something.... Don't just leave it what basically everyone else and their mother can buy.
The SRT lineup features a motor option you cant buy in any package OTHER then the SRT.....so why not the same consideration for one of the best selling model Dakotas?
Look, I personally hate the new 3rd Gen Dakota look.....but Baumble Bee's 2005 Dakota looks fabulous....and looks a lot more appealing then that crap of a R/T truck. Honestly, it pisses me off that every other freakin lineup gets something super fast....yet the Dakota is getting screwed....

If it sells well there's the possibility of an SRT dak. Back in 98 Subaru brought the 2.5 RS over which was only mildly faster than anything else they offered, but it sold quite well for a limited edition, in 00 they added a 4 door version, and it sold well also, so for 02 they finally brought us the WRX, which sold more copies in 02 alone than the 2.5rs sold over 4 years. Perhaps they're testing the water to see if people will buy a hopped up Dakota.

I test drove 2 and a buddy had one....and I just couldnt find any at all that I could afford....the one I did find was overly priced and had twice the amount of miles I was lookin for....
This truck would sell if they marketed it right.....we dont even need the SRT model....just give us a slightly more powered version of the truck with a little bit more personalized look....I dont think thats asking too much...

[sm=lol.gif] Not tryin' to start trouble, but do ya get pissed easy? Just curious 'cause in the ram section, ya got pissed off at a little comment and used strange language like "tight as hell" [

also, after subaru saw sucess with the wrx, in 2004 they released the STi here in the states, but not very many of them...and when they saw how quickly the sti's sold, they then made alot more in 2005 because they knew the demand for them was there...
