very hard horn button

any one finding it hard to press horn button? us older people with week fingers find it to be a problem on a 05 slt. any ideas?

Really stupid design/engineering on Dodge's part. I agree 100%. Where the little horn icon is embossed into the steering wheel is not necessarily where the button is. If you need to find the horn in a hurry, good luck! Where do they find the morons who come up with these dumb ideas? I mean, molding the horn button into the steering wheel? Give me a break.

Actually I'm not too old (37). I have tried to use mine numerous times for idiotic behavior such as trying to run me off the road. I think I was able to press it soon enough only once. I have the same truck as you. Sorry this was no help[:@]

anybody know if the 06 slt horn button is as hard to push as 05 slt? is there any service bulletins on it.

Yup sure is... I had to punch mine a few times.... lightly mind you... but it's getting easier.
