I attempted to measure the headroom available within the bed of my truck with the A.R.E. LSII closed. As near as I can determine, there seems to be 18.5 to 19 inches of headroom available for storage. I REALLY like the look and the quality of the LSII, but as you mention, hard tonneau covers do have some limitations around storage.

 

Just got new '06 Dakota R/T. Got my fiberglass cover from MoPar with my truck deal.

Paid $899. Should have checked the MoPar web site first, it's the same price I paid.

Maybe could have got it cheaper with the deal. Oh well cash back and employee price can't complain...

The web site does NOT list all available colors. Call parts or email MoPar for neeeded order number for your color.

 

i have had my A.R.E. low pro fiberglass tonneau for about 6 weeks now and love. color painted to match 900.00 installed. would have went with the dodge one but bealer wanted 1150.00 for one. have pics in my gallery

Did you check the Mopar site for price first?
Was dealer charging the extra bucks for the install?

Mine was 899 with install.
Damn new black color!...still waiting for mind to come in.

Maybe I did OK at 899 then!
