Default Aftermarket Throttle Body?

Does anyone know if there are aftermarket performance intake runner manifolds for sale for a 2006 4.7 V8? I made a mistake. I meant are there any aftermarket performance throttle bodies for an 06 4.7 V8? Thanks, Don.

Yup.... www.thefastman.com

Won't do any good on a stock motor though....u need some bolt ons (intake/exhaust) to go with it, and is usually only helpful on a FI (supercharged) engine...in this case the 4.7

Thanks for the info. I guess I will just stick to the K&N 63 air intake & the jet stage 1 chip I have on order.

Dan, if I have plans to go with new headers, true dual exhaust, and currently have a K&N 63 series intake, would a TB make a big difference for me?

ok, it says $180 w/$80 Core...so is it $260, or is it just telling you that the core is $80?

I think that means you pay them 260 bux, and then when they ship you the new TB they send you 80 bux back.

Probably not...it's not gonna add significant gains for you at all...maybe 1-2hp. People say that it just "feels faster," but it doesn't actually add much/if any hp.
A bigger TB, like I said, is only gonna come into play with a Forced Induction system since you're pushing A LOT more air in.

Since I haven't been around in a while....do they have a Flasher/tuner available yet???? If they do....that would be the next mod after a full exhaust system.

A throttle body would probably be your last thing you'd wanna add if you got nothing better to spend money on. If you really went serious with cams or cylinder heads....then maybe a TB would be a nice edition to compliment those items, but that's a lot of $$$ and some serious labor.
