Default Now considering 20s.

I can get the same wheels I wanted in 18s in a 20" size, but I was wondering about the rubber I would need. Would a 275/45/20 work on our trucks?

TIA!

I know 22's will fit on the Dakota.....so I you will be fine with a 20" wheel. However, I'm not sure about the tire size.

One thing I will say is this, 20's will limit where and how you can drive this truck. You wont have have as much tire to cover up the rims on those potholes or any limited offroading you do. Not to mention tires for a 20" are ridiculously priced. If money is no object, then by all means good luck!

well the 20s the guy will sell me will go for about 180 each...

Also, the roads up here aren't overly bad, and I have declined the offroading from now on.

275 is a pretty wide tire

I have the optional 255/65/16's on my truck and I don't like them....I think they're too wide......slowing me down (although the truck isn't fast anyways) and make a lot of noise when turning hard

Also...I'm gonna PM you about some rims

I keep trying to think of what Rory (fontana) had on his truck. I think they were 275/45/20s or maybe something smaller... I don't remember.

Too lazy to look also.
