no they dont stick out. You shouldnt need flares. They are taller, but no wider then the 265/70. With a 33" you'd need flares, these 265/75s are about flush with the fender.
Somebody, get us a report on the 2" lift/33 combo! I'm kickin around the idea of askin' my dude at the tire garage if he'll stick one or two on the truck to see what it looks like and if it rubs.
Sounds good. Flush works for me! Now to pick out a tire. I am looking at the Bridgestone dueler AT Revo, the Nitto Terra Grappler, The Goodriche AT, and Maybe the Niokian Vativa.Which one would you guys go with or is there one i should concider that i have not listed? I need some thing that is extremely good in snow since i live in Vail and do moderate amount of off road as well.
I put 265/75 R16 on my 05. Ended up going with the Bridgestone Duelar AT Revo. I love the way it looks and they have been working great. I am getting some tire rub though. I used some zip ties to pull back on the front of the wheel well. However it is still rubbing on the back where it is flared out a little. Was thinking about putting the 2" leveling kit on it to help conteract this and give me the extra wheel well clearance.I have been reading up on it and it seems like a good way to go from what most people are saying.
I just traded in my 04 and I had Buckshots. I think they were 305/70/17. Not too sure if thats correct but I do know I had the biggest size tire Buckshot makes and they didn't rub at all. Looked pretty good too.
Wonder if he means he traded in his 04 dakota for the ram? Either way I would find it hard to believe he has 305/70/17 on a stock dak granted my old 04 had more wheel well space then the 3rd gens do! so maybe on a 2nd gen it would work?
