I was bored yesterday, and hated looking at the antenna on these things. It's so huge. So, I fixed that problem.

Think you should put a rubber cap of some sort on it, it looks sharp. There are a few places on ebay that sells short rubber anntenas, I looking fro on for my truck, and they are only 13 bucks...

 

I got one of the Phat billet ones 6", from stylinconcepts. They come from 3-21 inches.

I would tend to grab it on a walk by. It looks like a dangerous thing to do to me.

 

Frenchy it's funny you posted this thread,last week I was looking @ my bright antenna then looked at the wifes heres is black well that was it went to the garage grabed a 3/8 wrench and did the swap!

I go for simple free mods first, then the actual ones that matter later on. I ALMOST tinted my rearview mirrors today... woulda been a bad idea, they looked sooo good though.
