Default Headlight Covers

So I got these headlight covers off of autoanything and put them on to see what they looked like. At first I didn't like them but they are starting to grow with me a little. Still on the fence with them though. I'm thinking about painting my grille shell black to go with it. I'd rather buy a secondary black grille shell in case I decide to scrap the whole idea as I will be doing a custom paint job on the truck at some point in the future. Has anybody switched from a black grille shell to a chrome one and is interested in selling their black one? I know it's a long shot but just throwing it out there. What do you all think of the headlight covers?

Sweet ... thanks for the pic! I almost bought those in lieu of the NIGHTRUNNER headlights, but I didn't cause no one had a pic of a DAK with the PROJEKTORZ.

It looks better than I thought. the white AVS on them isn't good though, but no worries

Hmm.. you should consider submitting your pic to autoanything so they can add that to their product deal. you might get a giftcard or discount on something out of it.. just a thought

i really like these a lot. I agree they brak up the color which is neat looking. I think I might buy those sometime, I liked the nightrunner fixtures because those had black on them too, but these might be a cheaper and better way to putting the black on. Has anyone figured a way to get that dumb yellow insert out of the fixture without breaking it??

The headlight covers look great. You should definitely keep 'em. Do you have taillight covers too? Kinda hard to tell from the pic but it looks like it.

He has the Mopar(APC) tail lamp assemblies.

You can get em for about 180 or so dollars IIRC.

Frenchy is right, I have complete Mopar Tailight housings not just covers. I got them on the auto truck toys site for $200:

http://www.autotrucktoys.com/dodge_d...8882C1979.aspx

But they have these AVS tailight covers on the same site for $50, the pic shows them on a Chevy, haven't seen em on the Dak:

They also have the AVS blackout covers for $50:

For all you chrome people, I like chrome, not tons of it but I like it here are some chrome covers on ebay:

Same as mine, but $20 cheaper on ebay:

I've seen those covers and was wondering what they would look like. It's a tough call since they don't match the truck color. Is it me or do they not match up well to the fender corners?
