How bout I give you my address... and you can send me your money you were gonna spend on the paperweight, and I save you the hassle of realizing you wasted money on something that won't help.
Throttle body spacers help NONE on these trucks.
Trying to save you money and the fact of you knowing you wasted money.

Ok so their is a tube hidden inside that box? I kinda like the look of that box on the engin but Airaid claims to be able to improve the airflow with their tube.... wonder what so ineffecient about that box as to have a 5% change from factory to aftermarket. I'm wobling back and forth on the K&N cold air or keeping my airhog and getting the Airaid tube. Anyone got good links to preformance reviews? I'm runnin myself raged googling till I pass out.

Slehner,
The 'black box' is an air intake resonator. It is 'tuned' to try and reduce intake air noise at audible frequencies. If you remove it, there will likely be an increase in noise. There would likely also be a minimal improvement in efficiency.
In addition it does indeed make a good cheap place for engine 'badging' for the marketing guys.
