Default Storage CC

Has anyone actually found a real storage area under the carpet under the seat cushions in the CC? Before I start pulling up the carpet or cutting anything I think might ask for conformation on this.

Open the passenger side storage and pull out the jack, etc. Then use a flashlight to look across the truck to see what you can see. I would think the compartment goes all the way across. The question is whether or not there is any pre-cut openings.

Thanks for the info. Still it makes you wonder why Dodge left out the storage there. They had storage under the CC seats for years. Go figure. Don’t you just wish you actually had real input on how these things where designed?

I've managed to stuff quite a bit of stuff behind the seats of my quad cab. That is where I store my tie downs and a few tools for my jet skiis. I am looking for a box that I can mount in the bed for other stuff. Hard to find a box that doesnt fit over the bed rails. I have a tonneau cover. I think I may just modify a heavy duty rubber made container and tie strap it to the front of the bed. Just a thought.

I cut out the carpet on my dak back in May for access to this storage area. Also I ordered another door. Same as for the passenger side. Part # 5JY69XDHAB for the gray colored door. It cost $7.25 plus shipping and tax.

I'm storing my wiring under that area.

Does that make me cool?
