Flowmaster just came out with part #17415...the dual split rear exhaust kit. I see it on this site :
https://www.justflowmaster.com/cgi-b...&key=FLOJ17415

I think it's the one I'm gonna get.

Thought I had it figured out then I get this email from Flowmaster

"Thank you for contacting Flowmaster. Unfortunately there is not a
product specifically offered for your type of vehicle. You could match
up a muffler based on stock dimensions and in/out positions."

Strange! I'll have to call them when they open.

I had called Flowmaster directly myself to inquire about the availability of a dual setup. They were great on the phone and told me about the 17415 number that was just released. I'm sure they'll answer all your questions.

Yea there's a guy on eBay that sells Flowmaster kits for the Dakota, his pipes and their muffler,he has a choice of different mufflers from Flowmaster and also a mandrel bend option and polished stainless tips for extra $.His prices start at around $200 for the base dual set up,Seen some comments on other forums people seemed satisfied with the fit and sound.

The exhaust systems are all the same for the 2005-2007 Dakotas

The frame & wheelbase are the same for the Club Cab & Quad Cab.......the only thing that's different is what's attached to the frame on top (bed & cab--long bed, short cab for CC & short bed, long cab for QC).

So what is underneath the truck is all the same though. Make sense?

I got mine from him. MagnumExhaust. Delta Flow 40, Mandrel bents, and S&H 269.99. Fit was perfect, went right around the tow hitch. Put it on myself and then took it to my local Midas guy, he welded all the joints and tips for $75. Tips are big fat 3' chrome slant cut rolled ends. Looks and sounds great.

That new flowmaster dual looks very nice and if it sounds as good as the flowmaster 40 I have on my truck I am sure you will love it......and not to mention the increased power and fuel mileage....and if your wife wins at bingo get a cold air intake and your all set.....well least for a week or so
