Default Shopping for an intake kit...

Hey everyone. I am a 2006 3.7L V6 owner, one of the few on here. I am looking into an intake kit. I can only seem to find a K&N intake kit that is for the V6, al the other companies make them for the V8 only. I thought it was all the same parts though? Maybe different mounting positions? But anyway...I wanted to get an AFE one, because there under $200. I also wanted the new dryflow filter on the kit, but thats not an option either because neither AEM or FRAM boost has one for the V6 yet. What are my options out there? Any advice?

I know you are looking for one under $200, but the K&N is very good. I have one on my 4.7L V-8 and I do like it.

I've been shopping around for the best intake myself, I don't seem to find any real differences though I'm sure there are. The main problem I'm having is trying to figure out what to do for an exhaust modification. I know what everyone's said about the V8s, but with a V6 I'm trying to be a little cautious because "undoing" things tends to be almost as expensive as doing them. I like the the exhaust sound the truck has now, but I'd rather it be a little louder with about the same tone.
