Yeah, it wasnt that hard to install. It mounts where the existing tow hooks mount, the hard part is getting that last bolt on the hooks off. Theres a rubber spacer that just spins, so you gotta hold it down while loosening the bolt. Other than that, it was simple

Those look great I have a Gen2 white with chrome front SLT so I think I am going to get the chrome ones, they just look good on a Dakota.

Hi Lil. The Westin Platinum Series(chrome over stainless steel) is an excellent choice. I've had mine on over a year. Kind of pricey but never have to worry about rusting or pitting like the black powder coated version is prone to.

Very nice, I like the way it looks. I got the brushed aluminum guard from mopar accessories.

I assume your front bumper didn't come with the chrome piece on it right? Mine has that, and I really can't stand how it looks. Is it just glued/taped on?

hey igneous, ill take it off your hands :-) "chrome strip"
Anyways i think its taped, glued or snapped on.
I like the look of the black powder coat bar, mainly because I love the black / white look with my truck. Next is to get some black 17" wheels, and black nerf bars.
