my o5 has the billet grille with the latch handle cut out. most full grilles dont come with the reloctor. you will have to fab one up yourself

If the 3rd gen is the same as the 2nd, street scenes grille will have a relocator.

I checked the latch out last nite,I'm thinking a lite weight cable connected to the latch and ran straight down to the bottom of the grill and connected to one of bolts to the grill frame, the latch seems real easy to move, just pop the hood, stick my finger at the bottom of the grill and pull downward on the cable,it's not high tech but seems like a simple solution.

A wooden paint stirring stick will fit right between the grill slats, after doing it a couple times, you should be able to do it with your eyes closed. Just slide it in and push. No BSing around with custom fabrication.

i have speed grill inserts on my truck and it came with the kit. it's a cable that comes straight down and theres a T handle and the bottom of the grill and you just pull it down to open the hood. I've seen people just attatch a thin piece of rod to the hood release and bring it down and put a L bend at the bottom so you have something to pull down on.

Jonny that kinda what I'm thinking of doing but without the handle,I figure some of that metal fishing leader cable, drill a hole at the end of the latch for best leverage and bolt it to bottom center of the grill with enough slack in it so it's easy to snag with my finger and pop it's open.A trimmed down paint stick would work to I think,The grill going to be 12 gauge aluminum expanded mesh powder coated gloss black,I'll post some pics when I get it installed,it may be 3 or 4 weeks before it's ready,Thanks guys for your help.
