I think mine is outta wack.

It rev's higher than it should be. I gotta get it checked out. Cuz, wouldn't one assume that the gas mileage on the highway should be better than that of an automatic?

Is there a differance between the 05/06 4.7L engine and the 4.7L in the 04? I mean it seems there are a few people having issues with engine noise, lack of power and such that I do not see anyone talking about in the Gen2 forum I had the 03 SXT 3.9L and it was great for a V6 and love my 04 4.7L and had not one issue with the engines.....my current has 24k on it and the 03 had 35k on it when I traded it in.

After looking for my truck for two weeks the person who stole it drove down the hill by my house at 6 pm friday. I was outside and heard it coming .I looked up and sure enough it was my truck. I followed the truck around for awhile .I called the 911 operator three different times before the police finally got involved. It took three hours of folling and loosing it before the county police caught the guy and my truck. would you believe that after fighting with one of the police officers this guy got away. But he left a 17 year old girl behind and she spilled her guts out to the police. They have plenty of finger prints. They also found drugs in my truck. The truck it self isn't damaged that bad. The right side needs work.Mostly the front door and fender. Lots of scratches and on the driver's side bed. No damage to the front or rear. They also broke the locking gas cap. It had a full tank of gas when it was stolen. The mileage was 16,200 miles. So they drove it about 700 miles ,all local. At one time while we all were looking for the truck the driver passed my house with a county police officer parked behind my rental car. He wanted to know what the truck looking like and I said just like that one ,It was my truck. He chased him for a while but lost him. Later around 9:30 pm seven police cars and two choppers found the truck. .He had a key made up and no glass was broken. So cover your VIN numbers and avoid this problem.

Right now would be a bad time for that question, I hate and use that word strongly, hate my truck, first the MPG on average I get with a good tail wind on the highway 11- 12 mpg at 70 mph driving around town maybe 10 mph and that is light footing it and runninjg super unlead, if I run regular I get 7-9 mpg and 9-11mpg hi-way I am not lyin either this thing sucks bad, secondly the power or should I say lack of power is unacceptable, supposedly a H/O 4.7 with the 3:92 gears, my 01 QC 4.7 with 3:42 would run all over this one if I pull out on a hill I better make sure there is nothing coming for at least a mile cause with the pedal pinned to the floor it sounds like I otta be flyin but it just makes the noise, it surges and just doesn't have the **** my old one had Got a appt w dealer this week to see what kinda *** they think I am in for a big surprize I'll keep ya posted

Uh, I have second that since the day I pulled off the lot. The first two weeks I was in denial but once reality kicked in, I knew this rig was a pig. Let’s hope the replacement 07 is a better shot of what a Dak was meant to be. I highly drought it though. I see a complete revamp of the Dak by necessity that’s if Chrysler Group is still owned by Daimler by than. You think I'm kidding? But Wait there’s more. All predictable, you’ll see.

Have you thought about doing stand up? You may be missing your calling.
