Well, it rained today, and it looks like a lot of it can be buffed out, but there is a part that is down to the metal..... that's my main worry. :-\

 

I just had an idea.....

This happened on a patrolled parking lot. So one would assume that I would be able to fight this and get it fixed right?

 

Private lots even though they have a security patrol have signs posted that they are not liable for any theft or damage to your vehicle or personal property......best you can hope for is a close circuit picture of the person smiling for the camera as they key your truck........made anyone mad lately.......ex girl friend?.....or girl friend's ex boy friend?.....kind of strange someone just took the time to key your truck out of the blue.

 

No, I hardly ever make people mad at me. Everyone loves me. I'm like the friendliest person ever.

 

Sorry too hear about your truck dude. I'm assuming it happened at the "U". Hopefully security will have some film. Your insurance should take care of it. Less deductable of course. Good luck man.

 

There is no security cameras that is my main issue. And the reason I am trying to fight against this.

 

Go get an estimate and find out what it is going to cost.........find out what your insurance deductible is.........go the cheapest route......you are wasting your time thinking they are going to pay a dime for the damage to your truck....but it does not hurt to ask.....but as a general rule they are going to tell you.....it is not covered in our lot and like I said previously you will find it posted in the lot or if there is a valet on your stub.....just how it is.....lease you didn't get hit and run like I did with 9,000.00 in damange to my truck.....now that sucked.

 

Well,... Here's my suggestion,...
If your worried about one possibly small section of your truck not being covered under your insurance you can always get a friend of yours to key the hell out of the rest of your truck and then make up some story to your insurance company and then have your whole truck repainted or custom painted with racing stripes or two toned or whatever,...

Just a thought.

YA YA YA insurance fraud do it do it, wreck it then go get your self a RAM, j/k lmao, sorry about your truck had that happen to me also on my s-10 they did a cicle and design that looked like a pie i mean damn you have that much time to degrade somebody's vehicle and not to mention they dont have a freakin life damn kid's, you send them to school with book's and the still become idiot's lmao
