I think the difference, to *non dakota owners* wont be so much as, "Oh he has an after market grille!" but more like "theres something about that truck that looks better then the other trucks, but I cant quite pinpoint it"

Of course the only people you wanna impress are other dakota owners :-D

I love driving by stock dakotas, and the owners staring at my truck :-)
makes me feel all fuzzy inside :-P

I went to Ann Arbor about a month and some ago, and I passed like three Dak's on the freeway, I was doing about 80ish, and they were doing like 70... and instead of paying attention, my Dad kept saying, "maybe they should pay attention to the road rather than ur truck."

My home town has a lot of people with new vehicles and EVERYONE has 20 inch chrome wheels... most the people that see my truck always compliment first on the fact I DIDN'T get chrome. Best decision EVAR!!!

Frenchy must live in the sticks or something hehe.........can never have to much chrome.......Frenchy you should spray paint your chrome exhaust pipes hehe......anyway I think the grill looks great....anything to change the look of the front of the Gen 3 Dakota has to be a plus.

 

lol mantis and his edits... has anyone looked at the putco grilles on dakotatrucktoys.com? they are pretty nice, some are well priced. im gettin the racer style one from them its only 87 bucks or so
