Default Alert: check this out

Want to make members aware of an online merchant offering a Hypertech programmer for '97 through '05 Dakota. The fact is, this programmer(Hyperpac) does NOT apply to our year '05. Do not be misled. I contacted this merchant some months ago but the item still is being shown for sale. Go to www.thepartsbin.com Item# 85001

Hey Superdak05, have you swapped-in a new cam ? If so, who is the mfg ? Are you satisfied with the results ?
I've seen several posts talking about new cams but no details. I'm not having any real performance issues with my '05 4.7 but the performance doesn't come close to my previous '02 4.7. I'm thinking that most of the lost power is due to the very confused transmission.
Any information regarding the cam (and electronics) would be appreciated.

look at krcperformance.com for cams and realize its a package deal. when you do cams you need to have an intake, headers, a 18o t-stat, MAYBE a chip if you want it can only help, and an exhaust. when u do things separately the torque wobbles in and out of certain ranges...it all works together when you get the correct mods.. now i realize you cant drop 1500 dollars and get it all at once....just know it helps to eventually complete the circle
where manits? i edited... anyways i forgot to say throttlebody... look up fastman throttle bodies...they are the best for 05's.

When you guys say "replace the cams", do you mean replace the non-h.o cams with the stock ones that come in the high output version of the 4.7, or something different all-together?
