3.92 or 3.55 axle ratio

Default 3.92 or 3.55 axle ratio

Any info on which one is more durable, better performing? I have :

3.55 axle ratio
corporate 9.25 LD rear and
205mm front

For big type tires a 3.92, for the smaller 3.55

you have the same as me, 3.55's are better for fuel mileage and 3.92's are better for acceleration or if you are going to lift your truck.

thanks. not planning to lift, driving on the beach will be about as offroad as I will go...tires are only p265/70r16 all terrain tires, nothing crazy

3.92s are also better if you intend to tow. I have the 3.55s too, and the tow rating is over 1000 pounds less than 3.92s.
