I bought a V6 strictly for the price. The only real difference between the 6 and 8 seems to be power, and I don't need the extra. I have noticed that since I put a Flomaster on it and an intake the truck does have a nice sound and a big difference in throttle response, especially at midrange RPM. I really haven't seen a tremendous increase or decrease in mileage, but then again most of my driving is in traffic and I tend to hit the gas fairly hard. It's all about what you need and want and whether or not you are happy with it.

 

I like it. The pictures make it look purplish though. :-\ We all know it's not though.
