Default Excited NEW OWNER!!!!!!!!!

Well almost. I have been test driving a 2006 QC Dakota for the last 4 days. I decided I wanted it so I am to sign the papers today at Noon! YEEEHAAAA!

I love this truck. It is a great truck, easy/fun to drive. Easy on the eyes too!

I owned a 94 model (bought new) and loved that truck too! But I totaled it.

I just hope I am not cursed with Dakota's. I wrecked my 94 model. My brother bought a 96 model and totaled it. Then a couple years later he bought one sometime around 2000 (give or take a year) and totaled it. So we have wrecked 3 Dakota's between us in the last 10 or so years.

I love DODGE! They make great quality products. The craftmanship on the interior looks great! I love the bold look of the exterior! I like everything about the Dakota I bought. Well, almost everything! Every vehicle needs a little personalization! I look forward to participating in these forums and driving/owning my Dak!!!!!!

Just wanted to share my excitement! Glad to be here!

I have it under my carport now (along with my old truck) but I don't have a decent camera to take any "real" pics with. I might snap some pics but the cam I have is really crappy.

The only crappy camera is the one that's pointing at a Chevrolet.

Don't hound me too bad guys, but I went with the V6.

I really really like this truck! The V6 has enough power for me. It is a great truck!

V6 is is the way to go. My first test ride was in a v8, salesman says to hit it. Sorry guys, didn't do much for me. Then I rode in the v6, yep, slower, but not that much. I put on some flowmasters and VERY happy with the sound and MPG. I would post mpg but dint want to start anything. I'm just very happy with the V6. YOU DID GOOD! Great Color!! I was really surprised at all the flake they put in a stock paint job. I had two ford owners even comment on it. ENJOY!!

Thanks,

I am extremely happy with the power. It is 10x's better than my Nissan Frontier V6, that is for sure.

I hope to add some minor mods, like the cold air intake, possibly a chip, maybe some flowmasters (do they sound good or GOOD?)

Mostly, I bought the Dak on looks (but I like the power it offers). I hope to do some minor mods to the exterior to add my own style. But I haven't been this happy with a veh since......well since my 1994 Dakota

Of course, I'll have to find some $$$$ to do these mods with, lol.
