Sounds like my truck, I got the 40 also. Did you yank out all the resonators too? I bought my 40 as a "trial" to later purchase the Flowmaster stainless system. Right now it's simply a single crush-bent 2.5" pipe from the y-pipe, thru the Flow40, exit out the factory location. I'm definitely happy with the sound, my only issue is the loud distortion at high RPMs, but I'm sure that will go away with mandrel bent stainless.
I've seen somebody on here has a Flowmaster stainless system with the exit in front of the rear wheels, dual pipe I think. That's next I hope, I just wish I could hear his truck.

 

These are aluminized steel madrel-bent pipes. Because this is an HO version of the 4.7, there was only one resonator after the main muffler to begin with. So now it's from the factory crush pipe, into a straight pipe into the Flow, out dual into those mandrel bent pipes. Ending with Magnaflow stainless steel 15 degree cut tips.
