Default Dyno Test...

I did a Dyno today. Cost me $30.00 for three pulls. I was a bit disappointed with the results. Even with the mods that I have, I was only able to get 168 hp and 219 lbs of torque. This is the only place I could find that did AWD vehicles. I've always known that with AWD, you don't get as much power to the wheels. I just didn't realize how much.

If you have AWD, the rear wheels use a majority of the power, from what I noticed.

The good news is, when they had the wheels at 85 mph, the truck sounded awesome with the Magnaflow system. I was getting goose bumps from the sound.

Has anybody else Dyno'd their truck? If you have, what did you get, and what mods do you have?

Where did you get the Cams and how much did they cost? I've been thinking about getting some, but KRC has them at a high price. Did you also get the HO intake manifold?

yes, krc went with the 206 cams. using the same manifold just had to have my pcm flashed for the added air and fuel needed, drop them an email and tell them what you are looking for in performance and they will email you a package of different stuff. also on there web site they have motors that are done up to specs and dynoed so you can see what other performance things you can do with the 4.7. very helpful company

If you had your PCM Flashed, How does that work with the Jet Chip Installed?

Flashing the PCM is like updating the drivers on your computer for the hardware you installed. The Jet chip still piggybacks off the PCM with whatever flash it has---It is just adding to the flash.

before you invest in anything. check with the local garages around town and see if they could do the install. i live by stafford motor speedway and there are a bunch of gear head mech. cost me 250.00 for the install.
