Default Help with new rims

Ok, I currently have MB rims from www.discounttire.com, with the stock tires. I'm looking at some new rims wrapped in 265/75 16 Yokohama AT+II. Problem is I will be repainting my truck a metalic gray almost like the mineral gray, but a little darker. Which rims do you think would look better? 1 or 2?

If your going to go with a dark color....I'd probably look at a chrome wheel. I'm not a huge fan of a gunmetal color on a wheel...as it doesnt look that good on dark colors.

I agree with Devil'sReject. If the rims were a black chrome I would go with that, but that not being the case, I would go with the chrome. The gun metal wheel with a darker grey body color just won't look good.

Well, they are the teflon coated wheels. The only thing I was worried about was if they got scratched, then they would look like crap. I'm not really into chrome, but they come in poliched aluminum. At least if those get scratched it would be hard to notice. I'm still debating though.

Well, I think the likliehood of of a truck wheel getting scratched or otherwise marked up is kind of high depending depending on your driving habits so the polished aluminum seems your better option.

If anybody is good at photoshop, maybe we can find a minera gray Dak and photoshop the rims from American Racing and get two examples up. They are Mojave's, polished and teflon coated.

Well, I'm not really down with chrome at all. Polished is definitely a posibility though. There is just something about chrome 16's that doesn't sound right.
