lets see, on the way to work today i was bangin along i 84 and happened to notice my speed 118. mph i only noticed this because my truck was acting funny. what it was really doing was throttling back.i have the corporate rear with the 3.55. have no trouble passing people have no trouble lighting up both tires anytime i want from a dead stand still. i can say that my regular 05, 4.7 cc dakota is better than any new h.o. thats on the market today. but then again, ihave the better cams, and the flashing that the new h.o. dont have.

You can also substitute the Dakota's V8 in for the V6 when talking about power.

Dakota V8 = 230 hp/290 tq
Tacoma v6 = 236 hp/266 tq
Ridgeline v6 = 247 hp/245 tq
Frontier v6 = 261 hp/281 tq
Ridgeline... you mean that ugly, dinosaur looking thing?
Sorry to burst your bubble, but Honda considers that a full-size truck ([sm=icon_rofl.gif]), which is sad, because it doesn't even compare to the Dakota, yet alone a real full-size

listen, go to the bank get a loan and get the cams. then everytime your truck shifts, yell out the window v-tech,.man thats fast. then you can hang with me.or go to the pet store and buy a rodent for extra power.

Go for the 4.7 HO! Since your in FL get some sticky rubber to ground you to the road. I was in need to replace my stock Goodyears and did so. I bought General Grabbers UHP's and man these tires stick to the ground. Unbelievable tractions compared to the crappy Goodyears that were on my truck. Again, 4.7 HO period

Eric.

Easy on the Ridgeline! It has it's own knitch - it's perfect for those that want a Pilot that hauls some stuff. They consider it with the full size only because it's so big on the inside (don't believe the specs... sit in one compared to the Dak - the interior's huge). I seriously considered buying one, for these reasons: F/E, AWD, interior size, trunk (don't knock it to you try it), I work for Honda. However, I didn't for 2 reasons: torque and $10500 off my Dakota!

And yes, it's ugly... but then again, have you taken a serious look at the Gen3 front bumper? I mean, be honest...
