Default Intrument panel light

Does anyone know how or have they already switched the ugly pale blue color of the intrument panel (at night)? Is it the actual backing that is that color even though it looks white during the day or is a colored bulb that can be changed. I thought I have seen a picure here of someone that had pure white taken in a night pic of the dash. Please let me know if someone knows how to change it. Thanks!

It can't be changed. :'(

Unfortunatly.

Let me add, this was about two or three months ago when there was a lotta hype over changing it, there was no way then. So I doubt it's changed.

Sorry.

Okay, thanks! I just joined last month so some of the things I have brought up I think have already been covered. I'll find a way to change it and let you know. There are some sites that I have looked at that you can change the face plates, I just can't find one that has a change for the dakota's. Would you happen to know if there is another chrysler/dodge vehicle that shares the same instrument plates as our trucks? It can be done, it'll just take some looking and digging to find. I'll let everyone know when I do.

Ask JimbosComp... he looked into this.... FOREVER... found nothing. So I wish you best of luck with it.
