Default passenger door leaks

Sorry, I'm on a roll here tonight!! Has anyone had any water leakage problems coming in somewhere around the bottom of the door into the floor mat area?? Mine happens everytime it rains and I have been going through puddles. No, I'm not forging water up to the doors! I'll look down and the whole carpet is soaked and I have to wetvac it out. Mine's an '06 by the way.

My two cents about adjusting the hinges for a tighter closure. Is the door already flush with the surrounding body panels? Roof line, front fender, rear of cab to door opening side, the rocker panel below the door? If all those areas are flush with the door, any attempt to adjust the hinges or latch to eliminate wind noise or water or air intrusion will most likely result in the door not being flush and uneven with the surrounding body panels and possibly not closing and latching properly.

I've only got 3K on the truck. Everything is lined up properly. If I had to guess, there is a rubber door seal that runs along the entire (bottom) length of the door. I'm assuming that is the only place it can get in. When I popped off the floor board trim it looked as though the water had migrated from under the trim into the carpet. It's hard to tell, but I can say that my black rubber floor mat will actually have a puddle in it and I have to pour it out!! That's why I think it is happening at the base of the door somehow.

Check that link about a thread on same topic. Hope it helps. Either way, with only 3K, I would take it back to the dealer for a warranty fix.

I had this problem. The dealer ended up having to replace all of the gaskets for the passenger door. It only happened when it rained heavy or driving through a decent size puddle.

thanks everyone for the input, I'm glad it's not just me. I guess I will have to take it over and get them to do the same seal replacement.
