Your probably not powering up all the accessorys and ignition wires, these new veichles are a pain in the rear to do. I do this type of stuff for a living so I will try to help ya out as much as possible.

12volts
red, red, red/lt. blu (40A ea)
+
ignition harness

Starter pink/lt. blue + ignition harness

Ignition pink/lt. green + ignition harness
Second Ignition pink + ignition harness
Accessory purple (-) and pink/white (+) -,+ ignition harness

Second Accessory pink/yellow (x2) + ignition harness

All of these wires MUST be powered up

Sorry, can 't help with the lights on stuff, but am interested in installing a remote start on my 06 CC. Which remote start did you go with and if you don't mind, how much did it cost?

I think it would be very helpful that if you figure out the problem, you should do a write up on the one you installed, with installation instructions, for all of us who have been thinking about doing the same thing. I think it would really help the community.

Don't do it, nothing but electrical problems down the road!

I agree with sdsdsd. Considering the problems softball160046 had and apparently still has after his install I can't believe anyone would think about a self install. There is way too much involved in today's automotive electrical systems, even with wiring schematics at hand. Is it really worth the frustration and aggravation? Have a pro do the install. I did.
