Default CAI ?

When I install my CAI are there any must do's? I wanted a K&N Intake system but couldnt pass the deal @ Summit Warehouse on a AEM Brute Force Intake System for 75.00 new. This item was in discount corner ,all I could find wrong w/it was a scratch on intake pipe which is chromed.

I'm not sure if it's needed, but disconnect the battery for about twenty minutes. That'll reset the ECM to read the sensor differently... At least that's what I had to do.

before you install it, put it together on your kitchen table. this will help in the install, making sure you have all the parts and clamps. if the kit doesnt have the heat shield then you might have ti fab on up. i bought my k / n off ebay for 212.00.
