Default new windshield

I have to get a new windshield now. friday I was on my way to my dads house taking the 4 wheeler back and a civic was passing me and I heard 2 bangs on my truck, one on the drives side and the other on the windshield. I cant find where whatever it was hit on the side but the windshield has a deep gash in it right in front of me.

that sucks man. on my way home from school i got a real small chip. its barely noticable and cant be felt unless you scratch with your fingernail. think its too small for water to get in expand in the winter, but who knows. hopefully it wont need a new windshield later this year...supposed to snow tomorrow...i guess soon enough ill know if its gunna be a problem this winter

If you have comprehensive insurance, most companies will waive your deductible if it can be repaired by a glass company (Safelite, Giant etc.)....Maybe call them for advise.
