I'm looking for a truck bed cover for my 05 dakota, and i'm leaning towards an A.R.E LSX cover. the main reason why i am leaning towards the LSX cover with a spoiler on it is because from pictures i've seen it looks really good. That and i heard A.R.E is a reliable brand. I just wanted to know if anyones had any problems with A.R.E covers as far asthe fitor any leaks or if anyone has any good things to say about them i'd like to hear that too.

 

i have the a.r.e. low pro fiberglass on my 05 club cab and love it. nice flat smooth finish and it is snug. one thing to remember is that once the new hard cover finally settles down you will need to bring it back to the dealer so they can resnug up stuff. and if there is any problems there warrenties are great. i broke a clip that hold the shock mount to the cover. went back to dealer, had them in stock, replaced both of them and gave me two new one in case it happens again. that way he will have them already. but over all they are solid

Who painted yours, the dealer or a seperate shop?

 

it comes factory painted to match truck. the dealer gets the paint code and when they order the cover it is painted to match and arrives ready to be installed. i got the cover and the bed rug installed for 1200.00
