Got the wrong Flowmaster installed.
I had a local muffler shop install a Flowmaster 50 series Delta Flow. I guess they didn't have any 3" mufllers in stock so they reduced the 3" pipe to fit a 2 1/2" muffler.
Just to make sure this was not the thing to do I called Flowmaster technical assistance who told me to bring it back. I'll be interested to see what the shop says when I return tomorrow...

I know your problem. you drive a ram, not a dakota
ya I would take it back and get them to to put on a 3" mufller. why didnt you go with the 40 series? I think the 50's are too quiet.
