i had a pro shop do mine and it was 5.5 hours. so if you know nothing about engines and you do it yourself it would take a whole weekend.

 

I was going to post this ina separate post, but... go to a website called www.socaldakota.com. They offer parts at a reasonable rate. I was looking at their cams, and they cost about $360, plus if you send them your cams back, they give you $75 back. That seems to be the deal now adays.

I was looking at their ECMs and they can set you up with for more performance with another type of chip. I'd check with them first.
