UPS dropped me off, a briefcase!!!!!!
Hey, hey, hey, why don't you.. just shush up over there DAN!
And, I've DEFINITLY deadened the wall/floor combination, as well as the rear doors, when I put in the components, I'll be deadening those doors, as well as laying a layer of ensolite ontop of it, as well as putting a modeling clay layer around the speakers.
I didn't buy Dynamat, cuz reviews showed, that while it still is a nice product, there is TONS out there better for cheaper. I was going to go with Second Skin, and then I found a company called RaamAudio. 62.5 ft^3 for 109 dollars. Uhmm, that's a lot of deadener for little cost. I was doing a comparison, the "trunk kit" Dynamat sells, contains 20 ft^3 for 170 dollars, or I can get 62.5 ft^3 for 109... hrmm...
Just a thought.

I like JL, but I am an alpine guy... as far as deadener goes. Elemental Designs makes a good liquid deadener, for all of those random seams that we end up making with regular stuff. also check out Fatmat, it is what my shop uses, and it is really cheap... not brownbacked either, silver backed to help with heat. (or so they say. lol)
i used to be an alpine guy, not tryin to burn you down, and if anyone disagrees, then its cool, just my opinion, but my 2 jl 12w3s hit harder than my friends 2 alpine type r's. havent heard a type x yet, id like to see how that sounds compaired to a w6 or 7. alipne is still great in my opinion. i like them more than kicker audiobahn ect.

i work at a car audio shop and we used to carry like 3 of their amps. Not bad at all and the price was very cheep compaired to others. The amps would come with white gloves to put on to handle the amps!!

Well just went to order the radio I wanted from Crutchfield (a couple hours ago), and just my luck that it's not even on the website anymore
WTF!?! [:@]
I'm calling them in the morning and complaining!

Go to SonicElectronix.com
They are fast, and have great prices. A lot of their stuff is even manufacturer warrantied, meaning they are an actual dealer, like my Clif Design speakers, have a full five year warranty on them. I'd check there man.

Well I ended up going with Crutchfield for my Panasonic HU that I got (if you read/saw my post already)
But you're right.....that sonicelectronix.com has some AWESOME deals!!
I'll have to remember that place.....thanks Frenchy
Actually they have a better price on the HU that I got, but I got ALL the installation accessories I need for free & a $20 off coupon helped lower the price too & also free shipping. So I'm not complaining!
