Frenchy,

I'm not sure what you mean by "a while back" but keep in mind that an Ins Co. may take a few days to 6-8 months to review your record and increase your rates based on its findings. Unless you live in a state like MO and can easily reduce your ticket to a non-moving violation, you will likely bite the bullet for this sooner rather than later, and for years to come I might add. Questions to ask..... How far apart were the ticket and expiration/renewal of your policy? Did you fight the ticket and if so what was the outcome?

So happy B-day and remember that when you turn 30, your rates will decrease dramatically.

"I'd rather be Cummin than Strokin"
Remember, that alot of states have the "Good Driver" policy....where if you havent had a ticket in X amount of time, you can pay the ticket, check the Good Driver box, and it never appears on your license. I dont know if you qualify for it Frenchy, but it's something to keep in mind.

Also, you're driving a truck, so insurance will be cheaper in most aspects then for a car.

happy Bday frenchy and dakota,
Congrats on the insurance decrease!

Im only 18 right now, driving since 16 1/2, so far no violations or tickets, 1 accident that wasnt my fault, that my insurance didnt pay for, so they dont care.

Well here in Canada, I pay $1700 Cdn for 2006- Dakota, 2005- Elantra GT (Her's) and 2005 Kawasaki 700 ATV all fully covered and tought I was paying high premium... 29y.o. with perfect driver's record.

$600 seem's a bit high but we don't have the driving record to go with the high premium.[sm=feedback.gif]
