No, for as much off roadingas you can do with a stock dodge dakota get a set of front tow hooks first. Or at least some sort of recovery point for the front. Your rear is taken care of with the hitch.If you want hooks in the back, buy a reviever hitch mounted with a hook instead of a ball. Those of you who cannot find any hooks online try your dodge dealer. The chevy ones i bought for my brackets were only $20...

I cant find mine, I think I left them in alabama at my brothers... thats were I took them off, but I thought I grabbed them.
