Anyone got any suggestions on a good winch mount for these trucks???The plastic bumbers kinda uhh suck.

 

You don't mount it to the bumper. A proper winch will come with a mouting kit which will allow you to mount it to the frame.

 

I would get a hitch mount. then you can put it on and take it off when you need it.

Or just get a set of tow hooks

 

You get a whole new bumper ($1300) then you buy a 15,000lb winch ($400), then, you go out into the woods, find a Ford F350 lifted with big tires, that's sinking in the mud, and you pull it out. Actually my friend and I have always used tow hooks too, it's nice less expensive alternative. They worked last thursday when I needed to be saved...

 

Iam not talking about getting a winch to pull others out..Ill use my truck for that..I need it to pull myself out

 

I would just get towhooks and letother people to pull you out.

 

post up a pic of where your tow hooks are. also, did they come on your truck, or was it an extra cost
