cant complain about my truck. just wish the 290 horse came out in 05, .now that the body style has changed should we go out and get the antique plates or do we still have to wait the 25 years?

 

i got no complaints either. admittedly, i am curious about the screech that we're talking about in the other thread, but i'm not terribly concerned because it's running fine once it starts, and it only screeches when it's really, really cold. in fact, compared to my previous truck, this one's just plain awesome. it does everything i ask of it, and just keeps asking for more.

 

Yup I 2nd that.....this truck is too heavy and needs more power to push it around.

The Gen 2's were lighter and had the 4.7 and moved nicely/hauled ***. The 4.7 feels lethargic in this truck

Hopefully that new 290 horse motor bolts right in.

 

I don't know, I'll just keep adding the power to my truck. I'm actually enjoying the shop around and finding new mods and such. My next two mods will be the TB and the 180 t-stat. And don't forget the Stage II Jet Chip.

I'm also looking forward to getting the stripes put on the back of my truck. That'll look sweet.

 

That reminds me...I ordered up a "fastman tb" almost two months ago now.......[&:]
