If I remember correctly the trans dipstick is to the left of the oil dipstick, the handle is a circle, in your signature it is the yellow spot behind the blue clamps on your CAI left of the dipstick..

Rear diff has not been changed on mine. So I can't help you there

I changed the rear diff oil at about 8,000 miles. I read a interesting article about this. Basically the amount of wear in the first 8,000 miles (break in period) makes it worth replacing the fluid. They found that if you did change it that the amount of wear is minimal over the next 100,000 miles (actually less than what will be present over the first 8,000 miles). If you don't the amount of wear as the miles go up becomes very excessive. Changing it was n't all that hard, but slightly messy. It would be so nice if there was a drain plug.

you guys should do what i did. drill and tap a hole for a 1/2" bolt for a drain plug. it works awesome and saves time

How would you change the rear diff fluid w/o that newly drilled drain plug? Howz it normally done?

You can syphon out the fluid through the filler plug. Once you get our as much as you can, then you open the rear dif. This makes the project much cleaner.
