well, I was kinda wondering the same thing... I raced a 6cyl 4x2 and killed it... bad. I hate running on the streets, but my buddy bought an 05 last week. we ran 'em. I never stopped pulling on him. and he had a reg cab. mine is stock minus a K&N drop in.

dude, the v6's aren't just good against 4cyls...i've killed a couple v8's in my day. left an 88 camaro (probably the 305)yesterday like it was standing still. dude, had a mullet and everything. he was reving the **** outta that thing. light turned green, he smoked'em and i walked his sorry *** till about 70 mph. then i let off and floored it-then let off and floored it, just to let him know he was pwnd. dude never saw it coming

dude, you got 15 more hp stock. it's no wonder you pulled him. the 05's must have been slower stock to have pulled him so badly.

I have a quad cab 4x4... way way more heavy. he knows how to drive, we both run stangs at the strip. his truck is stock though. and he was running regular gas. either way. it wasnt good. I do see how, with the right mods, a V6 can get quick.
